Green Valley Therapy is hiring Licensed Mental Health Therapists for our locations in New Market, Frederick, and Boonsboro, MD.
We're currently seeking therapists in the following specialties and those who are available to work late afternoon and evening hours to accommodate client schedules.
- Child and Family Therapist
- Individual Adult Therapist
- Marriage and Family Therapist
- Clinical Site Supervisors (one for each location)

Reports to: Assistant Clinical Director
What You'll Do (All Roles):Clinical Work:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy tailored to your specialty and client needs
- Maintain a caseload of 22-25 client sessions per week
- Complete documentation within 48 hours of client contact (72-hour deadline)
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning when needed
- Participate in monthly virtual staff meetings and clinical supervision
- Engage in monthly group supervision/case consultation with colleagues
- Coordinate with other providers to ensure comprehensive client care
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and pursue ongoing professional development
- Provide feedback for practice marketing initiatives when requested
- Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines (NASW, NBCC, AAMFT)
- Practice within your scope of competence
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records per state regulations
Required:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
- Maryland state licensure (LMFT, LCSW-C, LCPC, or equivalent; provisionally licensed clinicians considered for some positions with supervision provided)
- Demonstrated clinical experience in your area of specialty
- Training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Comfortable with hybrid in-office and telehealth service delivery
- Specialized training or certifications in your clinical area
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Passionate about your clinical work and genuinely excited to support clients' healing and growth
- A team player who actively participates in meetings, consultations, and contributes to our collective success
- Coachable and growth-oriented—you welcome feedback and apply it to strengthen your practice
- Self-reflective and accountable—you examine your own reactions, biases, and take ownership of outcomes
- Confident in your clinical judgment while knowing when to consult with leadership
- Organized and reliable—you meet deadlines, maintain professional standards, and manage your time effectively
- Committed to the team long-term and want to invest your energy in building something meaningful together
- Are primarily motivated by compensation rather than meaningful clinical work
- Struggle to collaborate or consistently miss team meetings and activities
- Become defensive when receiving feedback or resist change
- Plan to start your own private practice in the near future (we invest heavily in our team and need long-term commitment)
- Have difficulty meeting documentation deadlines or maintaining professional standards
- Prefer working in isolation rather than being part of a collaborative team
