Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join our team of experienced and dedicated addiction counselors and therapists in our residential treatment program in Frederick, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team-based environment and have a passion and/or curiosity for treating adults who are struggling with substance use disorders and other behavioral health concerns.
The clinical counselor/therapist role will be responsible for a range of duties including completing comprehensive clinical assessments, conducting individual and family therapy sessions, leading group therapy sessions, treatment planning, and completing comprehensive clinical documentation. The qualified candidate will be able to complete clinical documentation thoroughly within appropriate time frames, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is able to prioritize clinical workload.
- License/certification issued by the State of Maryland such as ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD
- Understanding of DSM-5 diagnosis criteria and working knowledge of ASAM placement criteria
- Culturally responsive

- Knowledge of EHR/EMR
- Basic computer skills and general knowledge of Microsoft Office
