We have an immediate opening for a full-time Sonographer to join our team in Frederick, MD. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 12:45 PM and one holiday per year in our Rockville office. This position will occasionally float to our Rockville office. The pay range for this position is $35+ per hour based on experience.
How You’ll Contribute:We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Sonographer is responsible for:
- Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology
- Makes necessary measurements & calculations
- Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records
- Establishes personal rapport with patients
- Provides explanations of procedures
The skills and education we need are:
- 2 years experience in women’s health strongly preferred
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school, and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS
- RDMS/RVT required
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
- Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job
