Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care network within a well-established, physician-led health system. This position offers a well-established patient panel, strong referral support, and a collaborative care environment supported by advanced practice providers, care coordinators, and centralized operational infrastructure.

The practice model is designed to support efficient patient flow, optimized scheduling, and sustainable panel management, allowing physicians to focus on high-quality care while maintaining productivity and professional satisfaction.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients (Internal Medicine) or patients across the lifespan (Family Medicine)
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management
  • Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services
  • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure

  • Board Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain)
  • Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider)
  • Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation
  • Eligible for participation with all payers
