Objectives
To provide design and documentation support for various Wormald Companies’ projects, including single-family and multi‑family residential.
Responsibilities- Developing designs in a collaborative process.
- Permitting and Construction Documents
- Energy Tabulations (Rescheck, etc…)
- Building Footprints
- Strip plans and elevations
- Coordination with Civil engineers, Site superintendents, designers, suppliers, sales and accounting professionals.
- Resolving issues from the field
- 4+ years of experience
- Experience with residential design or construction
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
- Hard working with good time‑management skills.
- Responsive to time pressures. Self‑motivated and doesn’t need to be micro‑managed.
- Able to juggle a variety of tasks and prioritize as needed to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Good communication skills via email, conversation and graphics.
- The ability to explore ideas quickly, by sketch or other means
- Commitment to collaboration, shared knowledge and efficiency
- Be willing to do any task at any time with a good attitude. No task is below any person at The Wormald Companies, including Directors.
$65,000–$85,000 depending on experience. Flexible work arrangements (remote, part‑time, etc…) will be considered as warranted.
