Construction Safety Advisor – Construction (Local or Traveler), Frederick, Maryland

• Site safety observations, including documentation of findings
• Create reports, run safety metrics, and use other software programs
• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis
• Represent the contractor in progress meetings
• Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures as required by law, the Owner, and contractors
• Conduct New Hire Orientations and safety meetings
• Conduct safety trainings
• Provide incident management and support
• Documentation and Report preparation
• Conduct Contractor program reviews

• Five or more years of construction safety experience
• Bilingual – English/Spanish
• BSCP Certificate preferred – CSP, CHST, STSC, etc.
• A degree in safety or related fields preferred
• OSHA 500 strongly preferred
• First-aid/CPR certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
• OSHA 30‑hour Construction

• Moving about long distances
• Ascending/descending stairs and ladders
• Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
• Working in extreme weather
• Being exposed to loud noises
• Wearing personal protective gear correctly
