SUMMARY

Cartesian Therapeutics is reimagining cell therapies with transformative technologies to bring a new generation of treatment options to patients with autoimmune diseases. With recent company growth, we are seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Administrator to join our team and support our front desk and office operations while contributing to a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Management: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and direct them appropriately.
  • Site Management: Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchenette and meeting areas. Monitor supplies, restock as necessary, and ensure a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
  • Corporate Event Planning: Assist in planning and booking corporate events, including logistics, catering, and venue arrangements. Ensure events run smoothly and meet company standards.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Support various teams with administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to workload management.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience providing office and administrative support, to include supporting senior management and multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • A high degree of professionalism and the ability to interact with people from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Experience using SharePoint a plus.
  • Ability to proactively monitor and manage all inbound digital communications, including responding to and actioning inquiries, messages, and requests received through Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a professional environment.
  • Ability to be on-site five days a week in our Frederick, Maryland office during the core hours of 9:00 – 4:00.
