Administrative Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team for a 1st shift position. The primary responsibilities include checking trucks in and out of the system and performing data entry tasks. This role involves daily checks, closing trucks, printing invoices, resolving tickets, UPS carrier processing, running reports for the sales team, filing evidence of insurability, dispatch tracking, scanning pick lists, and maintaining system updates to support drivers and the sales team.
Responsibilities
+ Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
+ Populate pre-pick slips for outgoing orders.
+ Perform filing duties to maintain organized records.
+ Conduct data entry tasks utilizing Excel spreadsheets.
+ Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including drivers, material handlers, and vendors.
+ Assist in logistics operations and dispatch tracking.
+ Ensure timely UPS carrier processing and report generation for the sales team.
Essential Skills
+ 2-3 years of administrative experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
+ Strong data entry skills.
+ Experience in customer service.
+ Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (typing test required).
+ Familiarity with manufacturing and warehouse environments.

Experience with programs such as OTM and Agility.
+ Strong multitasking abilities.
+ Basic proficiency in math skills.
+ Reliability and strong communication skills.
Work Environment
The work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The role is onsite and involves sharing an office with team members. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREDERICK, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
