Position SummaryRB Continuum, Inc is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Junior to support the Program Executive Office Soldier (PEOS), Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), Material Fielding and Medical Liaison Support Services. Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD) consists of providing Medical Material Support to all Army components, facilitating optimal healthcare and worldwide medical readiness through the procurement, assembly, and distribution of Medical Equipment and Medical Material Sets, Kits, Outfits (SKOs), the disassembly of previously fielded medical material and equipment, the management of excess medical material, the provision of disposition instructions, the management of on-hand medical material inventory, and the provision of technical assistance for medical material sustainment operations including training on Army automated logistics systems.
The work for this position shall be performed onsite.
Up to 20% annually, CONUS and OCONUS
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential and specific functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Thorough knowledge of English grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, and abbreviation.
- Ability to execute assigned clerical tasks, to include administrative typing; and demonstrated knowledge of filing techniques.
- Duties may include preparing and editing technical or general documentation using various software packages such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Windows, transcription of documents, data entry, and preparing and editing management support documentation such as PERT or GANTT charts in hard copy or using software such as Microsoft Project.
- Minimum of 2 years in medical logistics, supply chain management, or a related field within the healthcare industry in an administrative capacity.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% annually, CONUS and OCONUS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
