Junior Accountant
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a well-known healthcare clinic in the Frederick area.
- Due to vacancy, they are hiring a Junior Accountant to work in-office.
- Duration: contract-to-hire, depending on performance, fit, and needs of the business.
- Pay: $28-30/hr depending on experience.
Overview of the Junior Accountant role:
- Grants management
- Full-cycle AP
- General Ledger - reconciliations, journal entries
- Ad hoc reporting/projects
Preferred Qualifications for the Junior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Quickbooks Desktop experience is a plus
- Advanced excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
