Own the Cut, Start to Finish

Do you see a blueprint and immediately picture tooling paths, fixturing, and the first chips flying? In this role, you’ll write the program, set the job, and run the machine—bringing complex parts to life with accuracy and efficiency.

• Create CNC programs and produce clear, step‑by‑step work instructions.
• Run 3‑axis machining centers; any exposure to 5‑axis work is a strong plus.
• Install the correct cutting tools, holders, and offsets as defined by the program.
• Confidently navigate control screens to load, verify, and execute jobs.
• Measure parts, spot issues quickly, troubleshoot root causes, and refine processes.
• Follow established procedures so every finished part meets the highest standard.
• Handle set‑ups, changeovers, and regular loading/unloading to keep throughput high.

• Materials: experience machining aluminum, steel, and kirksite; background with molds and dies.
• Controls: working knowledge of Fanuc, HAAS, Mitsubishi, and Heidenhain; familiarity with Toshiba TASNuc 999 is beneficial.
• CAM: practical programming experience with WorkNC and Power Mill.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting strengths with a methodical approach.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints accurately.
• Comfort with calculations and moderate analytical work.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in CNC cutting.
• Proven CNC programming experience.

No supervisory responsibilities.

• Expect walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
