Responsibilities- The individual is to perform repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to assemble components into mold bases for the plastic injection molding industry.
- Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, or power tools
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required
- Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.
- Operates forklift as required.
- Complete and maintain paperwork for parts. Prepares mold plates for manufacturing and assembly functions.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
- Adheres to the company’s safety policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED.
Work Experience6 months of related factory experience.
Skills- Basic computer knowledge.
- Understanding of company quality and safety standards.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow work order routings, use simple math to perform basic calculations, and use basic handheld measuring tools.
- Physical Strength – must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 40 pounds or lighter.
