Social Media Video Content Creator

The Social Video Content Creator is the visual storyteller behind our brand. You'll work directly with our sales and project teams to capture authentic, engaging short‑form video content across Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, and other social platforms. Your role is to film real transformations, showcase our team culture, document customer testimonials, and capture the remodeling process in ways that educate and inspire.

• In‑office work with flexible scheduling around business needs
• ~50% of time on active remodeling job sites, including standing, walking, and maneuvering in various environments
• Ability to carry camera equipment safely
• Must be comfortable around construction environments and adhere to job site safety protocols

• Accompany salespeople and teams to job sites (~50% of time) to capture before‑and‑after footage of remodeling projects
• Film authentic team moments, customer testimonials, and behind‑the‑scenes company culture content
• Film the remodeling process from start to finish to create educational and engaging content
• Collaborate with management on shot lists and content planning
• Use a smartphone or a personal camera to capture high‑quality footage in various lighting and environments

• Perform minor post‑production editing, including trimming, transitions, and basic color correction
• Add captions, graphics, and text overlays to video content
• Optimize video content for multiple short‑form platforms (different aspect ratios, formats, lengths)
• Work with the provided editing software and learn new tools as the role develops

• Stay current with social media trends and short‑form video trends relevant to home improvement
• Maintain organized video files, footage libraries, and asset management systems
• Provide creative input on content ideas and angles
• Perform any additional video or content tasks as assigned by management

• Own smartphone or personal camera for filming
• Reliable transportation to travel to job sites
• Physical ability to work on construction/remodeling job sites
• Strong desire to learn content creation and video production

• Some filming or Tik Tok content creation experience
• Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Cap Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Active social media presence or content creation background
• Experience in the home improvement, construction, or real estate industries

Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
