Bartender - Umbrella Bar

The Umbrella Bar in Franklin, WI is seeking a friendly, reliable, and energetic Bartender to provide exceptional service in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, efficient in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about creating great guest experiences through quality beverages and service.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service

• Accurately take orders, process payments, and handle cash/credit transactions

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies

• Check guest identification to ensure compliance with Wisconsin alcohol laws

• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and promote responsible drinking

• Communicate effectively with fellow staff and management to ensure smooth operations

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Prior bartending or customer service experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

• Valid bartender license (or ability to obtain one)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Seasonal outdoor bar shifts may be weather-dependent
