Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Unit position in SE Wisconsin, requiring a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience including ICU experience, with a day shift schedule and every-other-weekend commitment.

• Acuity adaptable critical care unit — not a traditional pure ICU setting
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• CRRT, balloon pump, and Swan-Ganz catheter experience is a plus
• Competency in sheath pulls required
• Epic EMR used
• May be required to float within skill set, either within the facility or to sites within 40 miles
• Cares for critically ill patients in an acuity adaptable unit, managing a range of ICU-level needs

• COVID vaccination is not required for this position

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ICU experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Driver's License required
• 2 professional references required
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
