LOCATION: Franklin, Wisconsin
BASE RATE PER HOUR: $32.95
SHIFT: Day Shift - 12 hour - 2-2-3 Schedule (Work every other weekend)
HOURS: 5:45 AM until 6 PM
Responsibilities- Maintain equipment and facilities to operate in the safest and most productive electro-mechanical condition, supporting continuous improvement, production strategies and plant reliability of snack food equipment and building maintenance.
- Understand and adhere to governmental regulatory programs and policies (e.g., National Electrical Code, EPA, UBC) and local government environmental agency requirements.
- Practice and comply with all plant and maintenance department safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, Arc Flash and Hot Work Permits.
- Assist with proper alternate entry of re-classified confined spaces when necessary; understand Permit Required Confined Spaces.
- Follow applicable good manufacturing practices (GMPs) for the assigned area.
- Maintain and use appropriate PPE in accordance with OSHA, and conduct food handling before and after equipment inspection and repair activities.
- Attend classes, seminars, and in-house training to maintain or grow skills with industry changes.
- Assist in making improvements and suggestions to optimize the maintenance program.
- Execute and document planned and unplanned work findings and data during shift via SAP.
- Repair and install parts, tools, and equipment; fabricate or modify machines, tools, or equipment to support new or improved products.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM), inspections, corrective repairs, and equipment rebuilds; address equipment breakdowns/repairs.
- Use methodologies such as root cause analysis (RCA), breakdown failure analysis (BDA) and cause maps to identify and resolve issues.
- Utilize predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., ultrasound, thermal imaging, oil analysis, vibration analysis) and take follow-up actions as needed.
- Document cause of failure and collaborate with maintenance team, planner, supervisor, or others to prevent recurrence.
- Read and interpret technical documents and diagrams (manuals, blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, etc.).
- Other duties as required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Experience: Some college or formal technical school education preferred, but not required. Must pass plant-specific maintenance test.

The role involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; wet/humid conditions; potential exposure to high places, fumes or airborne particles, and caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually loud.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $32.95.
Individual base pay depends on location and factors such as experience and education. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
