Assist production and other departments within the facility, being able to:
- Supervising up to 15 team members
- Attend and participate in scheduled weekly meetings
- Work alongside Production Support and/or Engineering teams for required technical support including but not limited to drawings, work travelers, planning, etc.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts
- Coordinate material requests with the Purchasing department to ensure materials are readily available
- Oversee the production inspection processes to ensure quality standards
- Partner with the Quality department to ensure quality standards are met, including raising non‑compliance reports for defective/damaged parts. Participate in rectifying snags and ensuring quality alerts have been communicated to other team members
- Enhance production efficiencies by streamlining processes and implementing best practices
- Enhance and/or develop manufacturing and processing procedures or standard operating procedures
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of various plumbing systems such as water supply networks, water and drainage systems in the HVAC units
- Ensure installation of various HVAC components including dampers, sumps, frames and door handles are done while maintaining quality standards
- Perform continuous physical tasks like walking assembly lines, lifting materials and carrying parts to production line
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities, ensuring seamless transitions between tasks without compromising deadlines or quality standards
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for successful project completion, strengthening inter‑departmental relationships
- Contribute to employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions
- Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a steady pace on the assembly line
- Follow safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and wearing appropriate protective equipment
- Other duties as assigned by a member of management
Required Education & Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be qualified to perform the duties of the occupation in accordance with quality and quantity standards and to perform the mental, and visual requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner
- Must have Modine issued forklift license
- Physical requirements of the job are the ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance, stand for a minimum of 2‑3 hours, reach over shoulders/head, bend at waist/knees, twist at shoulders/waist
