Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Schedule: Night Shift | 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM | 2-3-3 Schedule

Location: Franklin, WI

Salary: $72,000 - $82,000 per year

Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance activities on plant equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete repairs to minimize downtime, reduce parts/labor usage, and proactively address issues.
• Assist with all maintenance operations, including machinery, HVAC systems, and boiler operations.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and charts.
• Conduct continuous assessments of facility operations, machinery, and supporting systems.
• Collaborate with Production Managers, Supervisors, and QA to resolve maintenance issues.
• Follow the Preventive Maintenance program and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Provide 24/7 coverage for emergencies, including equipment repair and resource mobilization.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are secured and prepared prior to equipment startup.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive plant maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Willingness and ability to work extra hours to support production needs.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 100% of the shift, work in cold environments, and lift 10–50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  Spanish proficiency a plus.
• Ability to apply basic mathematics to solve maintenance problems.
• Operates in a production plant and warehouse with varying temperatures.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Regular communication with team members and supervisors.
