We are seeking a Senior FP&A Manager for the Global Data Center business. This individual will serve as a key financial partner to the Data Center leadership team. The role is responsible for supporting decisions that impact profitability and long-term growth by executing detailed financial planning and analysis and translating complex financial data into actionable insights for the business. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, analytical thinker with a proven track record in a global manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Oversee the group's profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet and cash flow forecast processes, including the consolidation of regional level data and providing guidance on the plant-level processes.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and long‑range financial planning processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all deliverables across Global Data Center to Segment finance.
- Provide 80/20 financial support, including the analysis of financial statements, data analytics, and performance reporting and tracking.
- Analyze group performance trends and KPIs, translating insights into actionable recommendations for management.
- Prepare and compile standardized financial outputs, including Monthly Forecast Reviews, Swings Analyses, and Quarterly Business Review (Q ) packages.
- Assess financial risks and ensure vertical identifies opportunities to optimize financial outcomes.
Business Partnership & Operational Finance
- Serve as a finance business partner to the group leadership team, providing data‑driven recommendations to make sound business decisions.
- Support the analysis of significant group and vertical‑level investments, including capital expenditures and new product development, by performing business case and financial analysis assessments.
- Partner with vertical and plant finance to drive improvement in cash flow and working capital.
- Serve as a key resource to the broader group finance team, providing support and guidance on finance and accounting topics.
- Oversee expense allocation process, including review of slad corporate and segment allocation and providing guidance to verticals on distribution to business units.
Process Improvement & Controls
- Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, BI) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Continually evaluate and improve processes for financial reporting and analysis and collaborate with accounting teams to drive improvement in close and forecasting cycle.
- Support compliance with Modine Financial Standard Practices and other standard practices to maintain strong internal controls through development and deployment of training across the group.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive financial experience, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and operational controlling within a publicly traded company (knowledge of US GAAP required).
- Demonstrated experience supporting a business segment or division with full P&L responsibility.
