Role DescriptionThis is a part time 30 hours per week
on-site role based in Franklin, VA, for a Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator. The coordinator will support individuals and families in achieving economic independence and self-sufficiency through tailored case management and resource navigation. Responsibilities include managing family self-sufficiency programs, conducting needs assessments, facilitating community outreach and engagement, providing guidance on social service programs, and maintaining records and reports accurately to meet program goals.
Qualifications- Experience in Social Work, Social Services, and Case Management to provide effective support to individuals and families.
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse populations and deliver clear, professional guidance.
- Proficiency in Community Outreach to engage stakeholders and connect participants with beneficial resources and partnerships.
- Ability to organize and maintain program documentation, prioritize tasks, and effectively manage time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in housing services or community program coordination is a plus.
- Commitment to serving and empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds.
