Pay Rate:
$129,900 - $158,700
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

AboutThe Role
This position manages and coordinates all aspects of the #4 Paper Machine and PS&D. This includes safety, environmental, quality, people, production and warehouse management. This position provides day to day leadership to First Line Leaders and hourly operators in all aspects of the manufacturing process through coaching, teaching and empowering good decision making. This role also provides leadership to the PS&D team that manages the warehouse operations and shipping functions.
KeyAccountabilities
- Drive safety throughout the entire department
- Meet all company and regulatory requirements to provide a safe work environment
- Provide day-to-day leadership in product quality and troubleshooting issues
- Be a key part of the department MWS team
- Facilitate the implementation of policies and corrective actions associated with F4 and PS&D
- Facilitate and develop training requirements for hourly and salaried members of the department to meet current and future department needs
- Work directly with management of other departments in the mill to ensure production goals are met
- Assist OMC with Annual Outage and Field Day planning and execution
- Work with MWS team to execute necessary maintenance on a daily basis
- Work closely with the quality manager to ensure that product meets all customer expectations
- Work with PS&D team to manage machine run schedule, shipping requirements and warehouse operations
- Work with the business and supply chain to ensure smooth operation
- Take part in safety, quality, and production cross functional teams to support continuous improvement in the mill
- Rotate weekend call on a team to manage the mill through off days and holidays
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant paper manufacturing experience
- Proven leadership record with a commitment to safety
