The Township of Union Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and qualified Head Custodian
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Two (2) Years Experience as a Custodian
- Low Pressure Black Seal Boiler License
- Demonstrate aptitude and competence for the above position
GENERAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be familiar with and carry out the Board Policy on Duties of a Custodian
- Develop and maintain a work schedule for themselves and all custodians under their supervision
- Instruct custodial staff the proper use of equipment and supplies
- Instruct custodial staff in preventive maintenance
- Maintain daily attendance records for all custodians under their supervision
- Complete minor repairs as needed
- Maintain written inventories on equipment, deliveries, and supplies
- Assist in other related tasks assigned by the Manager of Operations & Maintenance Dept.
The Head Custodian shall be under general supervision and direction of the Manager of the Operations and Maintenance Department and under the immediate supervision and direction of the Principal.
SALARY RANGE:
$42,000 - $65,000 in accordance with the ACMTE Agreement based on experience
