Overview
Western Tidewater CSB is seeking a LE Clinician for our Outpatient team in Franklin, VA!
Responsibilities and Duties for LE Clinician:- Teach consumers appropriate strategies to manage behavioral and mental health symptoms
- Assist with consumer service plans related to identified needs and goals
- Assist consumers in gaining access to appropriate medical, psychiatric, social, educational, vocational and other support and services
- Provide consumer training/reinforcement, linkage to supports/services
- Advocate on behalf of consumer, family and providers
- Behavior management and crisis intervention
- Master’s Degree in Human Service field
- Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work required
- Five (5) years experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, substance abuse or who are dually diagnosed
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record
- Retirement/Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
- Vacation/Sick leave
