Acadia Healthcareis seeking a highly experiencedSr. Principal Integration Engineerto join our dynamic Integrations team. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of demonstrated experience with the Mule Soft integration platform and a strong background in building RESTful APIs, healthcare-related interfaces, and various types of message transformations. This role requires deep expertise in the Mule Soft platform, connectors, and a thorough understanding of healthcare data exchange formats such as HL7 and FHIR.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using the Mule Soft platform.
- Build and manage healthcare-related interfaces and RESTful APIs supporting HL7 and FHIR integrations.
- Utilize Mule Soft connectors to integrate with various systems and applications.
- Work with healthcare data exchange formats, including HL7, NCPDP and FHIR.
- Perform data transformations using Mule Soft’s Anypoint platform, Data Weave and MIRTH Connect
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to support Dev Ops initiatives.
- Establish, improve, and implement best practices for healthcare integrations.
- Develop and enhance robust monitoring and alerting capabilities to achieve observability goals.
- Implement and support existing and new SFTP integrations using Acadia’s MFT solutions.
- Develop and support applications built on platforms outside of Anypoint, using Python, React, Java, and other traditional languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality integration solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and expertise.
- Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in integration and healthcare data exchange.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience with the Mule Soft integration platform.
- 8+ years of experience working with healthcare integration technologies such as HL7, FHIR, CDA, ANSI X12
- Strong proficiency in building RESTful APIs and healthcare-related interfaces supporting HL7 and FHIR standards.
- Extensive experience with HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data exchange formats.
- Proficiency in traditional programming languages such as Python and Java, in addition to Data Weave.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mule Soft Certified Developer or Architect certification.
- Experience with other integration platforms and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience integrating with platforms such as Snowflake, Salesforce, EMR solutions
