Insight Global is seeking multiple Radio Technicians to join their team for a 6‑month contract opportunity. These contracts are highly likely to extend beyond the 6‑month period.
The Radio Techs will work 50% from home and spend the other 50% of their time traveling to 911 communications sites in the region. This travel will be done via driving or flying, and will be fully reimbursed. The Radio Technicians will primarily support remote radio repairs and troubleshooting, with most issues resolved by logging into Cisco routers and performing radio checks in coordination with helicopter operations.
In many cases, the technician will initiate a radio check, confirm functionality, and close the ticket without the need for physical intervention. Responsibilities include opening network ports as needed to support connectivity. The role involves minimal configuration and break/fix work, as well as very limited coordination related to FCC licensing. Overall, this position focuses on remote monitoring, light configuration, and efficient issue resolution rather than hands‑on field repairs.
