General Position Summary- Produce sales gains, by providing customer service.
- Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
- Learn to provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance and give support with feedback on strengths and opportunities, in line with Company Objectives.
- Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company Dress Code Policy.
- Generate Sales – produce sales gains by providing customer service, meet or exceed company objectives in individual statistics, provide documented appraisal of associate’s performance, give feedback, adhere to visual guidelines, maintain professional appearance.
- Control Expenses – protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies, assist in preparation of store schedules for coverage and wage control, follow all policies to accurately manage store inventory, perform proper documentation and record keeping per policies and laws, open and close store as required following procedures, support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Supervise Associates – participate in LIDS Training Programs, adhere to goals (sales and tasks), recruit and train store personnel, encourage compliance with policies, perform subordinates’ work as needed, communicate with employees at all levels, and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience.
- Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
- Ability to operate a computer and related software programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
- Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
