YOUR ROLE

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You hold down the daily operations of the store as needed. You train, motivate and celebrate associates and drive strong sales results. You represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

• You have a passion for driving sales: as a key LOD (Leader on Duty), you maximize Fitting Room and Sales floor productivity and build guest loyalty through a best-in-class in-store guest experience. You support Store Leadership to maximize business opportunities and drive KPI results.
• People leadership: motivate and inspire the team through AEO’s core values. Serve as a role-model and hold associates accountable to AEO’s service standards on the Sales floor and in the Fitting Room.
• Talent and training: recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs. Train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and maintain a Guest First culture.
• Teamwork and performance: challenge Sales and Stock Associates with clear, attainable goals and provide ongoing feedback through real-time coaching. Celebrate outstanding performance to drive engagement.
• Visual and operational leadership: execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves and visual standards. Ensure the Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
• Integrity and safety: maintain store safety standards, adhere to Asset Protection standards, follow AEO policies and do the right thing – always.

• You love AE and Aerie products.
• You’ve led teams in a retail management role previously.
• You can multi-task with strong attention to detail, prioritization and time management.
• You have business acumen.
• You have flexible availability to work when guests shop.
