We are seeking a seasoned Store Manager with a passion for nature to oversee the operations of our retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store, including sales, customer service, community engagement, inventory management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, be an effective communicator, a proven ability to motivate and manage a team that provides stellar customer service, and can maintain a positive work environment.

We seek an energetic leader who thrives in a fast‑moving retail environment, enjoys connecting with customers about backyard birds and natural products, and is dedicated to delivering a superior customer experience and building a high‑performing team.

• Day‑to‑day operations of the store, including inventory management, product ordering, and proactive identification of opportunities to improve store operations.
• Directs, coaches, and develops talents within the team on best practices and high‑level customer engagement.
• HR duties within the store such as hiring, training, and scheduling to the payroll budget.
• Implements the Marketing Planner as directed.
• Prepares displays, signage, and staffing for upcoming promotions and events.
• Fosters an active community outreach program.

• Must have at least 3 to 5 years of retail management experience.
• Interest in backyard bird feeding hobby or nature is preferred but not required.
• Must be skilled in Retail POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes closing, weekend shifts, and busy holiday periods.
