Position Summary:
Westhaven Golf Club is seeking friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Restaurant Operations team as a Part‑Time Server in our new restaurant, Wicked Slice. This part‑time position (Monday through Sunday, multiple shift opportunities) operates during hours of operation 8 AM‑8 PM. Compensation: $8 per hour plus tips.
Essential Functions- Provide warm, courteous greetings and exceptional service to all members and guests upon arrival and departure.
- Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Input orders into the point of sales system with attention to detail.
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
- Prepare and serve drinks and/or wine.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and quality.
- Monitor and anticipate guest’s needs throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining area.
- Present checks to guests for signatures.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid TIPS certification.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain physically active for extended periods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent or at least two years of experience in restaurant, private club, hotel, or banquet operations.
- Certifications such as TABC Certified or Serve Safe Certified desirable.
