Overview
Job Title: Wound Care Nurse (RN)
ResponsibilitiesAssess, treat, and monitor all types of wounds (acute and chronic).
Develop individualized care plans for wound healing.
Apply advanced dressings and use specialized wound-care equipment.
Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and skin integrity.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage complex cases.
Document wound progress and outcomes accurately.
Active RN license (Registered Nurse).
Experience in wound care (commonly 1–3 years).
Certification preferred:
WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse)
WCC (Wound Care Certified)
CWCN (Certified Wound Care Nurse)
