ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. The RN provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry‑through. The RN is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties.
The RN provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. The RN works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Licensure & Certification- Current Tennessee State Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR certification (training provided)
- Current Handle With Care (HWC) certification (training provided)
One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing required.
- Associate degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required.
- Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred.
- CPR Certification (training provided)
- Current Handle With Care (HWC) Certification (training provided)
