For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $117,600- $176,400 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Location:We strongly prefer candidates in the Nashville or Boston area. We are unable to consider any remote candidates.

Role DescriptionThe Communications Leader for NAM IT Ops will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy that supports IT initiatives, enhances stakeholder engagement, and drives alignment across the region. This role ensures clear, consistent, and impactful messaging for internal and external audiences, fostering transparency and collaboration within the IT organization and across teams in NAM as well as globally.
Whatwill you do:
- Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement a regional IT communications strategy aligned with global IT objectives and business priorities. Identify key messages, audiences, and channels to maximize engagement and understanding.
- Content Development & Delivery: Create compelling content for newsletters, collaboration platforms, presentations, and leadership updates. Manage communication for major IT projects, initiatives, and collaborate with business leaders on change management efforts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication. Serve as a trusted advisor on communication best practices for IT leaders.
- Digital & Visual Communication: Leverage digital collaboration platforms to enhance communication reach and effectiveness. Ensure brand consistency and clarity in all IT communications.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Track and analyze communication effectiveness through feedback and engagement metrics. Continuously refine strategies based on insights and evolving business needs. Execute and analyze results from our annual NPS survey for NAM employees.
- Executive support: draft newsletters and leadership updates, coordinate town halls or leadership meetings, write NAM CIO blogs, and participate as a member of the NAM IT Ops leadership team including quarterly Leadership Meetings.
- Event Support: Help coordinate and develop content for large events like Open Days, the annual NAM IT Ops Leadership Summit, and the Channel Partner CIO Technology Leadership Summit and program.
- One Voice Team Support: Analyze OV results, produce slides, and help as needed for activities coming out of the One Voice Committee including Lunch and Learns.
- Document Management: create structure and upkeep of department document repositories.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within IT or technology-driven environments.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Experience in change management communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms (Microsoft 365 suite preferred).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
