Job Description:

This role is primarily focused on supporting the manufacturing side of the business by designing, implementing, and monitoring a variety of human resources, safety, and training programs. The HR Generalist II will partner with business management to anticipate and plan for long-term HR needs and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide employee relations support including counseling, coaching, corrective action, and retirement counseling at all levels
  • Participate in local recruiting and hiring practices management
  • Support multiple HR functions such as recruitment, student programs, employee relations, benefits/payroll administration (including leaves of absence), compensation, organizational development, performance management, training, EEO/AA compliance, diversity initiatives, international assignments, immigration, relocation, special projects, and record keeping
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and community relations activities
  • Author written communications including announcements, policies, and intranet content
  • Develop employee engagement programs to enhance satisfaction
  • Collaborate with plant departments to support business goals

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates an extreme sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues to leadership
  • Experience conducting employee relations investigations
  • 3-5+ years of experience within HR
  • Bachelor's Degree required OR 7-10+ years of experience
