Global leader in advanced aluminum engineering and manufacturing is looking for an experienced Director of Finance. Employees work alongside skilled, motivated colleagues in a safe and supportive environment. In North America, their focus includes rolled aluminum products serving the HVAC, packaging, and automotive markets.
Position OverviewThis role serves as a key financial leader, guiding high‑impact decision‑making and providing strategic insight to executive leadership. The position plays a critical part in shaping financial strategy, ensuring strong governance, and supporting overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial forecasting, long‑range planning, and strategic modeling initiatives
- Develop and deliver management reports and executive presentations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries for senior leadership
- Oversee the aluminum hedging program
- Manage monthly financial reporting processes
- Direct the annual budgeting cycle
- Chair the enterprise Risk Board and support risk management initiatives
- Oversee insurance valuations and claims administration
- Manage weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of internal controls
- Enhance and maintain financial reporting systems and tools
- Oversee corporate accounting and consolidated reporting activities
- Lead monthly reviews of corporate overhead expenses
- Provide support for internal and external audits
- Ensure adherence to corporate accounting standards and policies
- Coordinate tax documentation with external service providers and support income tax planning
- Conduct customer credit analysis and risk assessments
- Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with all safety policies
- Uphold the organization's core values through collaboration, accountability, innovation, and accessibility
- Perform additional duties as needed
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Detail‑oriented with a hands‑on approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive planning initiatives
