Summary
The Senior Finance Leader is responsible for leading all financial and accounting functions for a luxury hospitality property and affiliated business entities. This role oversees financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance while supporting operational leadership in achieving revenue, profitability, and service objectives.
The position plays a strategic role in driving financial performance through data‑driven insights, cost controls, and effective financial governance, while ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic financial leadership to drive organizational performance and profitability.
- Partner with executive and operational leaders on revenue optimization, margin improvement, and financial sustainability.
- Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts (short- and long-term), and cash flow planning to ensure accuracy and liquidity.
- Oversee all financial reporting and compliance, including reconciliations, income statements, cash flow, A/R, A/P, payroll, and tax obligations.
- Establish and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and internal audit processes.
- Manage financial systems, data integrity, dashboards, and integration with operational platforms.
- Oversee inventory controls, purchasing processes, and key asset utilization metrics.
- Lead, develop, and performance‑manage the finance and accounting team.
- Oversee financial aspects of contracts, leases, and risk management initiatives.
- Execute special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Mandatory: 7+ years' experience in hospitality - hotel, hospital, etc.
- 3 years in a senior financial leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial systems.
- Ability to lead teams, manage complex priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership style with strong coaching, collaboration, problem‑solving.
