Project Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Overview

As a Project Engineer, you’ll manage all aspects of engineering on a project, nuts to bolts. When your projects call for it, you’ll lead and mentor other members of our Engineering and Purchasing teams. • Participate as a member of a project team comprised of PM, Buyers, Customer Service, and others in order to successfully complete conveyor & material handling projects.
• Own and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, including maintaining engineering schedules, budgets, and tracking engineering change orders.
• Lead conversations and drive results with vendors and other suppliers to review and evaluate system & equipment designs.
• Review customer specifications to confirm adherence to these during the design process.
• Provide technical support for the engineering process.
• Use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews and coordinate with other team members.

• You have a bachelor s degree in engineering or a related area.
• You are proficient in AutoCAD and Navisworks; working knowledge of Inventor or other tools is a plus.
• You are familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering, particularly in the material handling industry.
• You can apply some degree of creativity and latitude to solve problems.
• You are able to evaluate and accept project tasks with minimal direction, understanding that delivery is based on project timelines.
• You have experience in leading, mentoring, or managing other team members.
• You work hard, you work well with others, and you have a positive attitude.
