Commercial Project Manager

STV is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join their Major Commercial Project team. The position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and can be located in any of our major national offices:
New York, NY;
Newark, NJ;

The Commercial Project Manager will administrat… all commercial and contractual matters related to a single project, minimizing commercial risk and maximizing opportunity by identifying and monitoring potential risks, compiling change orders and claims, and forecasting costs to provide an accurate understanding of the project’s performance.

• Ensure commercial processes and procedures are adhered to.
• Develop a culture of commercial awareness across the project.
• In conjunction with the Project Director and Commercial Director establish a commercial strategy with clear commercial objectives.
• Ensure all correspondence and meeting records from the Contractor are reviewed and responded to accordingly.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and manage themdefaults through to conclusion to minimize STV liability.
• Manage the submission of potential change orders in accordance with
  
  Rw contractual obligations.
• Prepare timely sub-consultant agreements and coordinate scope with appropriate engineering staff.
• Administer sub-consultant agreements to ensure liabilities are accurate, payments are made in accordance with agreements, and all necessary notices are issued.
• Co‑棋牌游戏 the management of claims to ensure responses are provided index in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate profit and loss (P‑L) and cost to complete (CTC) reports in line with STV procedures.
• Ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Develop and encourage direct staff/npmblish responsibility for sections of the project.
• Fulfill any other task that can be reasonably within the role’s contemplation.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience with large‑scale commercial builder contracting, preferably within the AEC market.
• Strong financial background with experience in contractual law.
• Technical knowledge in commercial, contract and risk management.
• Exposure to large engineering and construction projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve problems independently and operate efficiently under pressure.

• Degree in construction, engineering or related discipline.
• Membership of relevant professional body.
