Project Designer

Job Description Position Overview

As a Project Designer on our Design + Build team, you will create detailed construction drawings and collaborate with sales consultants, project managers, architects, engineers, and clients, to bring commercial kitchen concepts to reality. You’ll play a key role in delivering innovative, functional, and code‑compliant solutions that support our mission of creating Legendary Experiences.

• Produce detailed, build‑ready construction drawings for bidding, permitting, coordination, and installation
• Develop isometric views and equipment elevations to clearly communicate design intent
• Support projects ranging from multi‑unit restaurant chains to large‑scale hospitality developments
• Balance creativity with operational efficiency and code compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to solve space‑planning and logistical challenges
• Respond to RFIs, field conditions, and design revisions accurately and efficiently
• Review site documentation and proactively identify potential issues
• Manage multiple projects and meet established deadlines
• Track scope changes and maintain accurate project documentation
• Monitor project milestones from conceptual design through final installation

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field; or Associate degree with 3 – 8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
• Ability to read, interpret, and create construction documents
• Experience working with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Strong organization and time‑management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment
• Clear, professional communication skills

• Experience in commercial kitchen design or related field
• Understanding of food service workflows, equipment, and utility requirements
• Field verification or site survey experience
• Understanding of ADA considerations within commercial kitchen layouts
• Experience with 3D rendering software such as Enscape
