Part Time Preschool Assistant Teacher School in Franklin

Summary

This is a part-time position beginning February 3rd, 2026. The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction.

We are seeking caring, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our preschool classroom serving children ages 30 months to 4 years
. This is a 20-hour per week role, with the option to select one of the following schedules:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
• Support project-based learning experiences and hands-on exploration
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all children
• Help with classroom organization, materials preparation, and supervision
• Model positive interactions, empathy, and respect

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• CDA or willingness to obtain CDA accepted
• Must meet state requirements for Assistant Teacher roles
• Must successfully clear all required background and fingerprint checks
• Passion for early learning, collaboration, and supporting young children’s development

• Performance-based bonus each semester (eligible after 90 days of employment)
• On-the-job training in project-based learning practices and classroom support strategies
