MD/DO
- Integrative/Functional Primary Care Team Member

About Sanctuary Functional Medicine

Our primary mission is to serve mankind by restoring a multitude of chronically ill so that they may live healthier, more abundant lives. Once those broken lives are healthier, we want to keep them and their other family members healthy through our functional primary care program. This functional primary care program serves as a sanctuary for those who have recovered from various chronic illnesses as well as for others who, though now healthy, want to stay healthy for years to come.

Our functional Direct Primary Care offers them the best of natural and conventional medicine outside the broken insurance and Big Medicine system. As a care provider, you will begin and end each day energized by the fact that you are part of a solution to help people regain their health and maintain it. Additionally, you will participate in developing a functional primary care practice.

Our long‐term goal is to build an institute where we can offer a variety of care levels to meet our patients’ functional health needs.

Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, board‑certified MD or DO who is passionate about transforming primary care. Your objective after initial orientation and training will be to work alongside our current Physician Assistant in our new functional primary care facility (lease signed and opening October 2025). You should have completed or have started training in functional/integrative medicine and demonstrate a strong passion to excel in this field.

This is a unique opportunity for a practitioner pursuing a career in functional medicine to establish their career under Sanctuary's umbrella with the extensive support of Sanctuary's team, including Dr. Potter’s mentorship. Enjoy a career that is cutting‑edge but also truly rewarding in an environment where patients really do appreciate what you do for them.

Our current physician assistant is nearing her panel capacity, and we need someone to begin taking 30 to 40 new patients per month into their panel soon. With 200+ new patient contacts per month, we can have your schedule pre‑booked before even starting.

Background of our Intensive Program

In our intensive program, we see patients who have complex cases such as CIRS, mold toxicity, Lyme disease, autoimmune disorders, mast cell activation, hormone dysfunction, PANS/PANDAS, cardiovascular disease, leaky gut, SIBO, Type II Diabetes, and much more. You can be their ongoing provider, keeping them thriving for years to come.

If this position caught your eye, send us your resume and, even better, send along a cover letter with specific reasons as to why this position would be a great fit.
