Body Shop​/Collision Estimator

Toyota Cool Springs Collision Center is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. We are a highly esteemed auto repair center and have been recognized as a Top Workplace by The Tennessean for over 5 years. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of estimating collision damage and the ability to work with customers, insurance companies and technicians to produce accurate estimates in a timely manner.

• Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage and prepare written estimates of repair costs.
• Communicate effectively with customers, insurance companies and technicians regarding the necessary repairs and estimate timeline.
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding repairing versus replacing parts to save costs.
• Ensure that all repair work is completed in accordance with factory and insurance specifications.
• Stay current with repair and estimating techniques and tools.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and insurance companies.
• Complete all necessary paperwork to close out repair orders and initiate payment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Repair or related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Knowledge of automotive repair software such as Audatex, CCC One, and/or Reynolds Ignite is preferred.
