Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to prepare and review complex tax returns, provide strategic tax planning guidance, and mentor junior staff. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and experience in public accounting.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corps, and C corps.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services, identifying opportunities for savings and compliance efficiencies.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and apply current tax laws.
• Coordinate client engagements from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Collaborate with audit and accounting teams to provide integrated client solutions.

• 4–6+ years of public accounting experience in tax with a CPA firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Experience with tax software (CCH Axcess, Ultra Tax, Pro System fx) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.

• CPA licensed or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
• Multi-state taxation experience and complex partnership/corporate structures.
