Staff Accountant

Description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, revenue and cash application activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet recurring deadlines. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting principles and enjoys both routine and project-based work.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and issue monthly invoices in alignment with established billing cycles

+ Apply cash payments and ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of receipts

+ Assist with AP, AR, and Treasury processes, supporting daily operational needs

+ Complete monthly journal entries and financial reports within required deadlines

+ Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, researching and resolving variances

+ Assist with quarterly deliverables associated with external reporting, audits, and tax compliance

+ Provide required documentation and support for external auditors and tax teams

+ Contribute to special projects aimed at improving processes and supporting department initiatives

+ Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth accounting operations

Requirements

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)

2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or multi‑entity environment

Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting processes

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general financial systems

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure
