Position Details
  • Position: Food Service Associate
  • Job Type: Part-Time / Non-Exempt
  • Shift Details: Wednesday 12:00pm–5:00pm;
    Thursday & Friday 8:00am–5:00pm;
    Saturday 7:30am–4:00pm
  • Work Location: Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center - Columbus, OH
  • Salary/Hourly Wage: $17.00/hour
Special Certifications
  • Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification required.
Summary of Job

The Food Service Associate is responsible for preparing and serving food under the direction of the Food Service Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Guest Care & Advocacy:
    Prepares and serves food in accordance with food safety requirements and departmental procedures.
  • Compliance &

    Risk Management:

    Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen by using proper food handling techniques.
  • Ensures all food is dated and disposed of after sell date.
  • Monitors refrigerator temperature and documents on daily temperature log.
  • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
  • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Additional Duties:
    Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education, Licenses, and Experience
  • Education/Licenses: High School Diploma or equivalent;
    Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of six (6) months of food service experience;
    Familiarity with Food Safety Regulations.
Skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements
Driving and Miscellaneous
  • Driving Requirements:
    If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy. If not qualified, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
  • Travel required based on business need
  • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state with a different minimum age requirement
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines) and professionalism
