Position: Food Service Associate
Job Type: Pool / Non-Exempt
Shift Details: As Needed - Flexible schedule
Work Location: Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center - Columbus, OH
Salary/Hourly Wage: $17.00/hour
Summary of Job: The Food Service Associate is responsible for preparing and serving food under the direction of the Food Service Manager.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Guest Care & Advocacy:
Prepares and serves food in accordance with food safety requirements and departmental procedures. - Compliance &
Risk Management:
Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen by using proper food handling techniques. - Ensures all food is dated and disposed of after sell date.
- Monitors refrigerator temperature and documents on daily temperature log.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Education/Licenses:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification required.
- Experience:
Minimum of six (6) months of food service experience - Familiarity with Food Safety Regulations.
- Skills:
Strong Organization Skills. - Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
