V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Technical Specialist 2 for our premier client in Franklin, Ohio.

• Highly desired: CISP Certification.
• Highly desired: 4-year college degree.
• Experience with Network Security and threat detection: 10 years.
• Experience with incident response and vulnerability management: 10 years.
• Experience administering Qualys: 10 years.
• Experience with remediation documentation and patch management processes: 10 years.

• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of DRC data, systems, and networks.
• Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
• Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
• Evaluating the organization’s security needs and establishing best practices and standards accordingly.
• Taking appropriate security measures to ensure that DRC’s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe.
• Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability.
• Partner with IT team and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes.
• Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reports.
• Conduct testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system.
• Tune scans and reduce false positives to improve data accuracy.
• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers and endpoints.
