* Job Description:

** We are seeking a
** Retreat Center General Manager
** to join our Easterseals NH Military and Veterans Campus team! The individual in this key position will develop, oversee, and drive the financial and operational performance of the Bernadine Herron Center at the ESNH Military and Veterans Campus, in alignment with strategic planning objectives and quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

* Oversee all aspects of the Bernadine Herron Retreat Center operations, including but not limited to, guest services, food services and catering, housekeeping, and facilities maintenance.
* Recruit, train, supervise, and coach Retreat Center Hospitality and Event Coordinator staff.
* Proactively and effectively partner with the Military and Veterans Services (MVS) Campus Director to develop campus rental bookings, revenue targets, etc.
* Collaborate with the VSO & Agency Outreach Manager to coordinate the campus activities calendar to ensure consistent and supportive services to the veteran, military, and first responder community.
* Oversee and drive hotel and retreat center sales efforts in order to meet financial metrics. This includes actively participating in sales generation, retreat center tours, hosting luncheons and receptions, providing consistent and proactive communication to contacts, etc.
* Assist in the creation of policies, procedures, training programs, quality assurance programs, etc.
* Create a positive team-oriented environment that focuses on guest satisfaction, with a focus on employee development, training, and motivation strategies.
* Ensure the Retreat Center meets cleanliness, maintenance, guest satisfaction standards in partnership with the MVS Campus Director and other key stakeholders.
* Ensure all employees are providing attentive, friendly, courteous, and guest-forward services to visitors and key stakeholders.
* Maintain a presence and support general operations during peak times, events, etc. with a focus on greeting and welcoming guests to the Retreat Center.
* Partner with the MVS Campus Director on ensuring a safe environment through safety policy development, trainings, etc.
* In collaboration with the MVS Campus Management Team, actively engage with Veteran Service Organizations, military organizations, and other agencies to ensure relationship development, vendor satisfaction, and program growth.
* Plan, coordinate, and execute events and retreat programming efforts with Veteran Service Organizations and other agencies.
* Maintain reporting mechanisms, database/tracking, and other key indicators.
* Represent the agency at business and community events, conferences, meetings, and committees as directed to promote visibility in the community.
* Participate in and attend meetings.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred
* Eight to ten (8-10) years’ experience working in the hospitality field with at least four  (4) years’ experience in a supervisory or management level role in the hospitality industry
* Demonstrated experience in event coordination and event management
* Experience working with hospitality management systems required, Maestro System experience preferred
* Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
* Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of a team
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

** Starting at $80,000 annually, additional compensation based upon experience.
