JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Communication Specialist serves as a key voice of the Heidelberg Engineering brand, helping to elevate presence across digital, print and customer-facing channels. Support the planning, creation and execution of marketing initiatives that empower eye care professionals, fuel product success and strengthen our leadership in the ophthalmic imaging space.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate in planning and executing marketing communication strategies supporting sales efforts, trade shows, and customer events.
- Create, research, and produce compelling marketing assets-email campaigns, sales tools, brochures, digital content, and more.
- Manage media plan execution: secure rates, develop campaigns, coordinate with media partners, oversee budgets, and analyze performance.
- Partner with our social media team to build monthly content calendars, develop creative engagement tactics, and track metrics to optimize results.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date website content across our U.S. platforms and manage Business Lounge user registrations.
- Oversee regulatory approval workflows for all materials you produce.
- Track and manage inventory of printed materials.
- Support the Product Marketing Managers in launching and growing product market share.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the U.S. and Germany.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, graphic design, internet technologies, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing communications experience; medical device experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), and web CMS tools;
Salesforce CRM, graphic design skills, and Pardot experience are a plus. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; experience in an FDA-regulated environment is a plus.
- While performing the duties the employee is:
- constantly required to reach to use computers and other office equipment
- constantly required to view objects at close and distant ranges
- frequently required to communicate with others
- frequently required to sit and stand
- This position functions in an office and technical environment and requires fine manipulation and simple grasping in order to utilize the computer and other standard office equipment such as telephone, fax machines, copiers, etc.
- Required occasional lifting and transporting of items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- This position may require occasional travel to meetings and trade shows.

For the purpose of this summary, occasionally is used to represent up to 1/3 of the time given to the workday, frequently represents 1/3 to 2/3 of the time and constantly represents 2/3 or more of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The employee frequently works in a professional office environment and with lots of computer equipment and moderate amounts of noise and activity. This position is eligible to work remotely up to three days a week upon manager's approval. The employee may occasionally be required to travel. Off-shift and weekend duties may be required as assigned by manager.
SALARY RANGE: $64,511 - $83,590
