We specialize in petroleum remediation, contaminated soil excavation, tank cleaning and closure, emergency spill response, hazardous waste disposal, and asbestos remediation. Our team takes pride in delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions for our clients — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager knowledgable in Environmental Remediation. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and logistics, inspecting work to meet quality and safety standards, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. This role requires effective leadership in driving project success and operational excellence.
WhatYou'll Do
- Manage environmental remediation and hazardous waste projects from kickoff through closeout
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including RCRA, MCP, CERCLA, and TSCA
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies
- Prepare and review project documentation, health and safety plans, and waste manifests
- Support business development efforts including site walks, estimating, and proposal preparation
- Monitor project performance and proactively address schedule, budget, or safety concerns
- Participate in a5-week on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency spill response, coordinating rapid mobilization of crews, equipment, and resources to contain and remediate releases
- 3–5+ years of project management experience in environmental remediation, hazardous waste, or related construction fields
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, MCP, CERCLA, OSHA)
- Emergency response experience, including spill containment and incident management
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining responsive to emergency callouts
- Proficiency with project management and estimating tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within a 100-mile radius of our Franklin, MA or Dover, NH offices
- Strong Project Management skills, including the ability to oversee schedules, budgets, and deliverables effectively
- Proficiency in Inspection practices to verify project compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders
- Degree environmental science, engineering, construction management, or related field experience
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards
- Familiarity with prevailing wage and government contracting requirements
- OSHA 40-Hour certification
- Familiarity with UST closures, industrial services or remediation projects
- Experience with asbestos remediation
