Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Quality Control Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. This position offers opportunities for growth into leadership or elevated lab roles, providing an excellent career progression path.
Responsibilities- Conduct quality tests on magnet wire for compliance with specifications, design proposals, R&D, and product performance.
- Complete testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.
- Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, and other materials.
- Inspect and analyze raw materials and chemical products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Perform complex tests requiring meticulous attention to detail.
- Use detailed instructions to perform testing, enter data, and prepare reports or charts.
- Operate chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
- Assist technicians, engineers, and management in problem-solving and corrective actions.
- Utilize computer programs and quality systems, contributing significantly to the quality management system.
- Follow procedures and guidelines to achieve quality, safety, and production goals.
- Maintain accurate records and data for company reports.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to maintain positive working relationships.
- High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree in scientific field preferred. - 1 year of GMP experience.
- 1 year of experience in quality control lab technician roles.
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques.
- Ability to work a 3rd shift, 12-hour schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of computers.
- Understanding of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS).
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and above-average mechanical skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.40 – $21.65/hr.
