Join our team as a Quality Control Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. This position offers opportunities for growth into leadership or elevated lab roles, providing an excellent career progression path.

• Conduct quality tests on magnet wire for compliance with specifications, design proposals, R&D, and product performance.
• Complete testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.
• Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, lubricants, and other materials.
• Inspect and analyze raw materials and chemical products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Perform complex tests requiring meticulous attention to detail.
• Use detailed instructions to perform testing, enter data, and prepare reports or charts.
• Operate chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
• Assist technicians, engineers, and management in problem-solving and corrective actions.
• Utilize computer programs and quality systems, contributing significantly to the quality management system.
• Follow procedures and guidelines to achieve quality, safety, and production goals.
• Maintain accurate records and data for company reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to maintain positive working relationships.

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree in scientific field preferred.
• 1 year of GMP experience.
• 1 year of experience in quality control lab technician roles.
• Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques.
• Ability to work a 3rd shift, 12-hour schedule.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of computers.
• Understanding of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS).
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and above-average mechanical skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.

The pay range for this position is $20.40 – $21.65/hr.
